Our guides, articles, and community information are for general information only. They aren’t legal, financial, tax, or real-estate advice. Check important details with a qualified professional or the relevant authority.

• Businesses write their own listings and are responsible for keeping them accurate and lawful. We review listings before they’re published but don’t guarantee any business’s work, licensing, or insurance.
• Badges such as “Verified” and “Featured” describe a business’s membership level and our basic checks. They aren’t an endorsement.
• Any agreement for work is between you and the business. Check licenses, insurance, references, and contracts before hiring.

• You must give accurate information, keep your password private, and have the right to represent the business you list.
• Don’t post anything false, misleading, infringing, or offensive, or anything you don’t have the right to use (including photos).
• Quote requests you receive are for answering that homeowner only. Don’t add them to marketing lists without their consent.
• We may edit, pause, or remove listings and accounts that break these terms, and we tell you why.

• Free Basic listings include phone and email, one category and service area, with no photos or website link. Pro membership costs $75 per month or $765 per year and is billed in advance through Stripe, renewing automatically until cancelled. Sponsored stories cost $450.
• You can cancel or change plans at any time from your dashboard. A cancelled plan keeps its benefits until the end of the period you paid for. Partial months aren’t refunded unless the law requires it.
• If a payment fails, Stripe retries it and you keep your plan meanwhile. If it can’t be collected, your listing moves to the free plan. Nothing is deleted; anything beyond the free plan’s limits is just hidden.
• We may change prices or plan features with at least 30 days’ notice by email. Changes apply from your next billing period.

Home listings are provided by Bright MLS through the approved IDX Broker account and its Internet Data Exchange (IDX) program. The information is deemed reliable but isn’t guaranteed. Listings may be sold, withdrawn, or changed at any time, and each one names the brokerage that holds it. It is provided for consumers’ personal, non-commercial use, only to identify properties they may be interested in buying.

The site’s design, text, guides, and photos belong to Delmarva Home Guide or its licensors. You may share links and short quotes with credit. Please don’t copy whole articles or scrape the directory or home listings.

We provide the site “as is” and can’t promise it will always be available or error-free. To the extent the law allows, we aren’t liable for indirect or consequential losses, or for the work, products, or conduct of businesses listed on the site. Our total liability to a member is limited to the membership fees paid in the 12 months before the claim.

We may update these terms. We’ll change the date at the top, and tell account holders by email about significant changes. These terms are governed by the laws of the State of Delaware. Questions? Contact us.
